There are a few software packages here available for download. There are a few package-betas, for exampe, "glib-1.2.0-1-beta.src.rpm" denotes the beta packaging of the glib library, not beta of the glib software itself. If there are RPMs that are beta software (not packaging) it will be noted.

Package: apache-1.3.6 Status: Package released
Description:
The Apache web server is the best free web server available in the UNIX world today. It uses HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) to allow web browsers to view documents and submit data remotely. It has the ability to perform a number of different functions, including proxying and caching, and offers features such as a status monitor, dynamic type conversion, and more. This RPM is modular. As many of the components of the apache server have been modularized as could be. This capability was avaiable in the original apache RPM distributed with COL 1.3 but not to this extent. I have also added a development RPM which adds header files and utilities to compile thirdparty modules.

Package: linuxtrheads-0.71 Status: Package released
Description:
This is release 0.71 (late beta) of LinuxThreads, a BiCapitalized implementation of the Posix 1003.1c "pthread" interface for Linux. LinuxThreads provides kernel-level threads: each thread is a separate Unix process, sharing its address space with the other threads through the new system call clone(). Scheduling between threads is handled by the kernel scheduler, just like scheduling between Unix processes.

SRPM: linuxthreads-0.71-1.src.rpm
RPM: linuxthreads-0.71-1.i386.rpm

Package: linsniffer-ssh-compare Status: Educational Release
Description:
linsniffer is a packet sniffer used to snag passwords and login nams of networks. It hears everything on the local subnet. This version is available only as an educational tool. I have modified the original (by Mike Edulla) to only look at ftp, rlogin, telnet and added ssh for comparison. Ssh sessions are encrypted before a login prompt is even seen by the user. All passwords and login names are encrypted. It is highly recommended that every one install ssh and use it instead of telnet. By downloading this software, you agree that you will only use it for educational purposes. The program logs to a file called 'tcp.log'.
This software is only available as source. No binary will be made available.
