I have updated my resume and will put it online soon. I also have been pretty busy lately with film festivals- my film "Reading is Fundamental" has won two awards! Local Film Makers has grown and we are planning some great things ahead.

Working on my web site (finally getting back to it). I have updated my
mail_form.php script and wrote a How To page for it. I hope to
update my film pages as well. I've been very busy with school lately- I'm
taking a directing class that is always preoccupying my mind. Man, I'm
getting spring fever. Time to get out into the mountains!

Just got off work and Becky andI are heading down to the Young LDS Film
Festival in Provo to see if my film("The Lost Boys of Sudan") won
anything. Also, Jason Ball and Jacen Brewer and I made a film this past
week as part of the 24-hour-filmmaking-marathon (part of the LDS film
fest.) We'll see how it goes.

Well, my best friend got married last week. It was a great wedding and
fun to see all the old friends again. I was honored to be a co-best man,
along with his brother. And yesterday was Labor Day. Becky and I went
hiking and got a little sun burned. It felt good to be out in the
mountains. I think we need to do that more.

My short documentary "The Lost Boys of Sudan" screened today in the Salt
Lake City film festival. It was very cool, and a little wierd, to have a
film in a real film festival. Some of the people in the film came and we
did Q & A with the audience after the show. I am going to submit it to a
few more festivals and see what happens.

Well, I'm in summer school and trying to work a little as well. And we
just moved (again). Things are going well. One of my film professors
said he will try to get me a job with KUED, the local public tv station at
the U. That would be very cool!

Back to school already?!? Well I did have a lot of fun at the Olympics,
but now it's back to regular life. I have been working on my lastest film
(titled "The Gate") which is for my film production class. It is a 5
minute short film without synchronus sound. Meaning the audio and visuals
were gatherd separately and are not synchronized like dialogue and stuff.

School is going ok here at the U. The Olympics is about to start and my
wife Becky and I are pretty excited. We can just walk from our house to
everything down town! It should been a lot of fun.

Just doing some work on my web page. I am goin to try to include some
footage of my video editing final project under current projects. I am
also trying to finish "No Where to Run" now that I'm out of school.

I graduated today from Salt Lake Community College!!! It only took me 4
years to get a 2 year degree, but hey- I was working all that time too, so
don't think I'm a slacker or something! I got my A.S. degree in
C.I.S. (Computer Information Systems). Now I'm just looking for a job, and
possibly to continue school in the fall either at the U of U or at BYU.

I am doing my taxes. Wupee! I just purchased a tax program from H&R
Block, so this year should be a little easier figuring out taxes.
